Winemaker Kobus Gerber describes the Fleur du Cap Sauvignon Blanc 2003 as crisp with asparagus and ripe apple flavours and hints of tropical fruit such as pineapple and sweet melon on the palate with a long lingering aftertaste.

"The wine shows a rich golden colour. On the nose it is packed with layers of rich tropical fruit such as pineapple and mango with an abundance of peaches, apricot and dried fruit. The wine is full-bodied with vanilla oak spice flavours", says winemaker Kobus Gerber.

On the nose the wine displays citrus and vanilla notes integrated with ripe peaches and dried fruit flavours. On the palate it shows intense lime and butterscotch flavours. The wine has all the complexities and elegance of a fine wooded Chardonnay and is excellent value for money. It will mature well over the next 3 to 5 years.

“The wood integration is sublime and shows creamy butterscotch flavours intertwined with melon, apricot, peaches and honey”, says winemaker Kobus Gerber. The wine has all the complexities and elegance of a fine Chenin blanc.

“This is a flinty Sauvignon blanc with an abundance of gooseberry, asparagus and grape fruit flavours. This full-bodied wine will develop with further maturation in the bottle,” says winemaker Kobus Gerber.

The result is a concentrated full-bodied Semillon with melon and vanilla oak flavours. “The palate is tropical with a lot of citrus-fruit flavours and it also shows an abundance of peaches and apricot”, says winemaker Kobus Gerber.

The wine has a deep golden straw colour with subtle green edges. On the nose it shows litchi, pepper and classical dusty botrytis, while on the palate it is well balanced between acid and fruit with dominant flavours of peaches and dried fruit.

This is a refreshing, crisp and light-bodied wine with attractive aromas of fresh apple, citrus fruit and muscat. This easy drinking wine is very lively on the palate with a fresh fruity finish.

This full bodied Viognier displays intense peach, floral and dried fruit flavours on the nose. It is powerful on the palate with nuances of vanilla oak and a spicy finish.

“The wine has a brilliant deep straw colour. On the nose the wine shows predominantly gooseberry and asparagus flavours typical of Sauvignon blanc and Semillon, while spicy and floral flavours typical of Viognier dominate the palate ending with the creamy and nutty flavour obtained from the Chardonnay,” says winemaker Kobus Gerber.

“This full bodied wine is brilliantly clear with green edges. It is a powerful Sauvignon blanc that shows an abundance of green pepper and asparagus on the nose typical of grapes harvested from cooler areas. On the palate these green flavours are well balanced with ripe tropical fruit and a crisp acidity that stretches the wine on the aftertaste,” says winemaker Kobus Gerber.

“The wine is dark ruby garnet in colour with an abundance of ripe fruit and herbaceous oak spices. Medium to full on the palate it shows red berry fruit and delicate vanilla flavours backed by a soft and elegant tannin structure”, says winemaker Coenie Snyman.

“This striking crimson red wine has subtle ripe berries mixed with violets and lavender on the nose. It is an easy drinking wine with gentle tannins and velvet soft mouth-filling berry flavours on the palate,” said winemaker Thinus Krüger.

"It is a medium-bodied, smooth wine with an elegantly fruity background and harmonious fruit-acid balance, with a touch of tannin", says winemaker Coenie Snyman.

The dark intense ruby coloured wine is complex with a mixture of cassis, lead pencil, cumin and vanilla aromas with hints of bell pepper and truffle. The well-structured tannins carry the aroma of the wine through the entire palate. This classic Cabernet Sauvignon with its complexity and solid structure is drinkable now but will mature well over the next 5-10 years.

The wine has a dark, intense ruby red colour with a powerful nose of ripe red berries, strawberries and plenty of dark chocolate backed by a delightful spicy character. "The palate follows the nose with the same ripe fruit and chocolate flavours and spicy character", says winemaker, Coenie Snyman. It is very drinkable now but will also mature well over the next 5-7 years.

The wine is intense bright ruby in colour. “On the nose it is attractive with traces of smoked leather spice with an earthy background,” says cellarmaster Coenie Snyman. He also describes it as a medium-bodied wine with a plummy fruity palate complemented by delicate oak flavours. The wine is drinkable now but will definitely benefit from ongoing maturation.
